Season 3 Episode 1- Melonheads
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
What are the Melonheads? Joseph Citro’s 2005 book Weird New England describes them as “small in stature, frail looking, with long spindly arms and fingers. Their teeth are crooked, blocky, and discolored. Their heads, their most conspicuous feature, are bald and bulbous and out of proportion with their stooped torsos."
Connecticut, Ohio, and Michigan each have their own tales of the dreaded Melonheads. With origins from various marginalized groupings of people in history, the Melonheads have arguably become feral and formed their own colonies in the forests of America.
Join us in this exploration of the insidious Melonheads and see how they rank against the pantheon of cryptids.

Season 2 Episode 2 - Cursed Paintings
Sunday Dec 06, 2020
Sunday Dec 06, 2020
Curses have been around since the dawn of mankind. It is said that every once in a while there is potential for a physical item to be imbued with such maleficence and hate that is can contain a curse. Join Matt and Angel as they discuss two such curiosities in the form of cursed paintings.
The first painting is "The Hands Resist Him" by Bill Stoneham. Allegedly the content of this painting was said to leave the canvas nightly, with the little girl brandishing a gun and yelling at the boy.
The second, the The "Crying Boy" is a mass-produced print of a painting by Italian painter Giovanni Bragolin. It is said the paintings were the only thing that survived numerous house fires in the UK. Investigations by the tabloid The Sun makes this story a real page turner.
